Highlight the tune name you would like to remove.

It will have the current custom tunes on the device listed.

The white box on the right hand side of the screen should say On Device.

Select the tune you would like, and click Open.

Find the first file that you saved from your email, and select it.

That will open a new window, where you are able to select your Desktop on the left hand side of the new window.

Click Browse on the top right hand side.

Please follow the directions below to update the device. You may be asked to update your device using your computer. Record those numbers and provide them to the salesman when asked.

Scroll down until you see ECU Strategy and TCU Strategy.

Turn the key to the ON position, and hit Continue.

Use the buttons to select Vehicle Info.

Please follow the directions below to obtain those.вЂ‹ If you are purchasing tune files only you will be asked to provide us with the ECU Strategy and TCU Strategy of the truck.

This has me pissed! My x4 has worked flawlessly up to this point and I don't understand why SCT would have created an update that forces putting a stock tune back into the car before any other tunes can be loaded into the car.SCT *Must be accessed from a Windows based computer* I do not trust that the update will not leave me with a tuner that doesn't flash my custom tunes and a stock tune in the car that I can't even start the car properly on without returning my car to stock. Looking to see if someone else has done this with success or what. This worries me because obviously I cannot run my car with the stock tune in the event that something goes wrong with the tuner update. When it was done it said that I had to flash my vehicle back to stock before it could confirm the update. I then ran the Automatic update and it loaded some new files. I plugged my X4 into the computer and downloaded the new version of the SCT updater.

After going through the trouble to install my stock tb and adapter I attempted to load my Lund tune and got a general error that said I needed to update the tuner. I just tried to put my stock tb on today and load my Lund tune for it back in. Looking to see if anyone else has had this issue with their x4.
